
Dr. Amanda Lacerda was raised in Victoria, British Columbia. Dr. Lacerda graduated from the University of Victoria (Victoria, BC) with a bachelor’s degree in science and University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC) with a doctor of dental medicine degree. Dr. Lacerda has been working in Prince George since her graduation from dental school and became a partner and co-owner at Southridge Dental in 2019. She has also been a member of two world class continuing education programs: Spear Study Club with mentor Dr. Heiner Tillmanns and R.V. Tucker Study Club with mentor Dr. Avie Panar. In these clubs, Dr. Lacerda meets with other highly respected dentists from Prince George to discuss and perform the highest standard in treatment planning and dental restorative techniques. Dr. Lacerda is also a trained and certified neurotoxin (Botox and Dysport) provider for therapeutic relief of jaw pain and heachaches as well as esthetic treatment of the upper face.
Dr. Amanda Lacerda and Dr. Brad Asay are married and both graduated from UBC dentistry the same year. Together they own and operate Southridge Dental Clinic. After graduation, they chose to take the opportunity in Prince George to be close to family. Since before graduating dental school, Dr. Lacerda and Dr. Asay have enjoyed a mentor/mentee relationship with the previous owner of Southridge Dental, Dr. Drew Tkachuk. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lacerda enjoys hiking, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her two fur children.
